Note: Discounts available if you sign up for multiple workshops when registering. See below for the special discounts.

FA 951 - MyMaya: An Introduction

Level: Intermediate

This intensive workshop introduces you to the basics of interface, modeling, animation and rendering. Major topics include: the graphic interface, and major shortcuts; modeling: blocking a real-time poly-character, basic UV-mapping, texture painting; animation: basic non-character motion, dope sheet, and graph-editor; rendering: material organization, and basic lighting. You develop a practical understanding of three dimensional object modeling and visualization in a creative context.

FA 952 - MyMaya: Modeling

Level: Advanced

This intensive workshop will cover advanced Poly-modeling, and basic Nurbs modeling. Polygon modeling: advanced character creation with a large portion of the poly tool set Maya offers; Nurbs curves: correct geometric design for animations using patch modeling with Nurbs surfaces. You create sophisticated 3-D models using these computer-generated techniques. Previous experience with Maya is recommended.
